Terms of sale
This English version is provided for information. The French terms of sale (CGV) are the reference version.
Version of 3 November 2026
For professional clients only. Our services are intended for companies, institutions, associations and self-employed people acting for their business. They are not offered to consumers.
1. Purpose
These terms of sale apply to the services sold by C86 (Cabinet 86), EURL with share capital of €3,000, RCS 911 902 435, VAT FR21911902435, whose registered office is shown in the legal notice (“C86”), including the AI Reputation Audit, the Audit + correction plan and Monthly tracking.
They form the basis of the business relationship within the meaning of Article L.441-1 of the French Commercial Code and prevail over the client’s own terms unless otherwise agreed in writing. They are attached to every invoice.
2. Orders
The client orders by email to benjamin@cabinet86.com. By ordering, the client confirms that it is acting for its business and accepts these terms. The order is firm once C86 sends a written confirmation together with the invoice.
Custom services are quoted. Quotes are valid for 30 days.
3. Services
- AI Reputation Audit: 30 questions asked to 5 AI engines, score out of 100, share of voice against competitors, errors found and sources used, 10 priority actions, PDF report of about 15 pages and raw data.
- Audit + correction plan: the full audit, a 60-minute debrief, texts written for 2 pages of the client’s website, ready-to-use schema.org markup, 3 directory listings written, the list of comparison sites and media to approach, and a new test of the 30 questions after 60 days.
- Monthly tracking: a new test every month and a 2-page progress note. It is offered after a first audit.
4. Timing
Work starts once payment is received. The audit is delivered by email within 5 working days of receipt of payment and of the form completed by the client.
5. Best-efforts obligation
C86 performs the services with care, under a best-efforts obligation. C86 does not control the answers of AI engines and does not guarantee any citation, ranking or visibility. Their answers change over time: the report describes the situation observed on the test date.
6. Prices
Prices are in euros excluding VAT. VAT at the applicable rate (currently 20%) is added for clients established in France.
- AI Reputation Audit: €990 excl. VAT
- Audit + correction plan: €1,790 excl. VAT
- Monthly tracking: €250 excl. VAT per month
For a professional client established outside France, the invoice is issued without French VAT under Article 259-1 of the French Tax Code, with the “reverse charge” mention for a client established in the European Union.
7. Invoicing and payment
An invoice is sent with the order. It is payable on receipt, by bank transfer. Work starts after payment is received.
Monthly tracking is invoiced at the start of each month. Each invoice is payable on receipt.
No discount is given for early payment.
Under Article L.441-10 of the French Commercial Code, any late payment automatically incurs, without any reminder being needed:
- late-payment interest at the rate applied by the European Central Bank to its most recent refinancing operation, plus 10 percentage points;
- a fixed recovery fee of €40. If actual recovery costs are higher, additional compensation may be claimed on proof.
If payment is late, C86 may suspend ongoing services.
8. Monthly tracking: term and cancellation
Monthly tracking has no minimum term. The client can cancel it at any time by email to benjamin@cabinet86.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month, which remains payable.
9. Client commitments
The client provides accurate and complete information. When it asks for the name of an executive or another person to be tested, it confirms that it has that person’s consent.
10. Intellectual property
Once payment is made in full, the client may freely use the report and deliverables for its own needs and to carry out the recommendations. C86 keeps ownership of its method, analysis grids and tools. C86 may list the client’s name among its references unless the client objects in writing.
11. Confidentiality and personal data
Each party keeps confidential the non-public information received from the other, during the assignment and for 3 years after it ends. Personal data is handled under our privacy policy. Where C86 processes personal data on the client’s behalf, the parties sign an agreement under Article 28 GDPR.
12. Liability
C86’s liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damage. It is capped at the amount excluding VAT paid by the client for the service concerned and, for Monthly tracking, at the amounts paid over the last 12 months. This cap does not apply in case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
13. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for a failure caused by force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In case of disagreement, the parties first seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute is brought before the Commercial Court of Aix-en-Provence (tribunal de commerce d’Aix-en-Provence), which has exclusive jurisdiction, including where there are several defendants or third-party claims.
